    Visited during a day out along the Macclesfield canal. Cold, wet and misty outside but very welcoming in this pub. Staff are lovely and friendly, appreciated the roaring open fire and the food was superb (especially the home made pies). Would have been nice to see real cider alongside the real ales. Will revisit.
